Ipad Magazine User Experience Design Layouts
Project Description: I created an iPad Magazine project. The theme of this project is Monumental Architecture of San Francisco. I took pictures of the monumental architecture in San Francisco. I picked two examples of buildings which are the GC Lounge Palace and The Pacific Telephone and Telephone Building. I included both interior and exterior architecture pictures for my project which would fit the theme on the examples of those two buildings.
I used some of the tools in Adobe Photoshop and Adobe Illustrator for the architecture images and text. For some of the pictures, I did some photo editing on the pictures and clipping masks on the photos. I used the text wrap tool to wrap text around the images. The text wrap technique with the text and images represents a unique feel and look of the monumental architecture theme.
For some of the pages of iPad magazine, I used some navigational elements to see how the user would navigate throughout the iPad magazine. I used the hamburger menu to show which section of the magazine the user is on and where the user the user is navigating throughout the page. For the landscape page of the iPad magazine, I used the keyboard navigational element for the user to do a quick search on the section of the iPad magazine. I used the bottom control panel to show the appearance of the iPad magazine while navigating throughout the magazine.
